Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge. With Scratch, we can program own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share creations with others in the on-line community. Scratch helps think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively
I gave a project work to Akshaya Arun & Anjali Dass from grade VII to create an animation story using scratch code. Both of them presented their project in class and trained other 33 students of their section the use of scratch code. Inspired by their work, some other students are also working on animated stories. They are now creating different stories to teach Grade IV,V & VI students. Very soon I will share the stories and step by step manual on social media.

My idea behind this is to make the students aware of the online tools which they can use to collaborate with their core subjects. And also use their creativity to enjoy the subject. By sharing their creative work online, they can reach larger number of students and community.
